How much do I need to raise? Each rider needs to raise a minimum of $350.

Can I Raise $350? If this is your first fundraising ride, you may be asking yourself the same question every first year rider has asked themselves. The answer is Yes! You can raise $350 (and much more)!

Do you feel uncomfortable about asking for money?  The 5-year experience of this ride and other events indicates at least 80% of event participants feel nervous, or uncomfortable about asking others for money. Nevertheless, over the years, the average amount raised by Cover Indiana cyclists is more than twice the required amount!  Really? How?? By just doing it! Nothing can happen until you start.  

What is your next step? Get psyched to give it a try! Start today! Remember these three important concepts:
1. Almost everyone you ask will support you.
2. Most people give simply because they have been asked.
3. Listen to what the most successful fundraising riders in the past had to say.

What if I do not raise the $350 minimum?  It simply is not fair to other riders if we allow an individual to pedal the Cover Indiana Tour if he/she has not raised the minimum. No exceptions will be made.  A personal check may be written to cover the difference.

Where does the funds raised go?  Each rider can designate an affiliate to which they would like their funds raised to be distributed. Riders can also choose to raise money for the state affiliate.
