In 2004, Do it Best Corp. selected
Habitat for Humanity as our cause of choice. Habitat’s
mission is to eliminate substandard housing around the
world by providing decent, affordable shelter for those
in need.
As part of the partnership between Do it Best and Habitat
for Humanity, affiliates in Indiana that operate Re-Stores
have been invited to participate in the Do it Best product
shows, which are held in Indianapolis twice each year. Vendors
at the show have been asked by Do it Best to donate
their display products to Habitat for Humanity of Indiana
unless they are required to return them to their companies.
At the most recent product show, Habitat affiliates around Indiana received over $170,000 in donations which brings the total donated by Do-It-Best vendorsover the life of the partnership to well over $600,000.
